2012 was a staggering year for sport in Britain and for London in particular with a hugely successful Olympic Games negotiated. Although undoubtedly a massive highlight for the city, there are actually plenty of other reasons to enjoy London as a city of sport. If you have an upcoming visit planned to the English capital and you are an avid sports fan, there are lots of things you can see and do to combine your love of sport with an enjoyable stay.
